Okeechobee County Fleet Maintenance provides vehicle maintenance to county emergency vehicles (Fire/EMS) and other vehicles/equipment owned by the Board.

Maintains 50+ Public Safety (Fire/EMS) vehicles and equipment (including trailers)
Maintains 182 County vehicles (including trailers and off-road equipment).
Staff of 5 Full-Time and 2 Part-Time Employees
Assists other County departments in purchasing of vehicles/equipment.
Implemented pilot program with Enterprise Fleet (3 vehicles).
Bought 4 other County vehicles.
Funded from County departments, charges for services, Transportation Gas Taxes, and Small County Surtax.
