Purpose

The Early Learning Coalitions were created to oversee and improve the readiness and successful outcomes of children from birth to kindergarten age in the community (F.S. 1002).

Membership Details

• The Governor appoints the Chair and two additional private sector members. A maximum of 19 members may serve on the Coalition board. 

Appointment Terms

• The terms of the five (5) members are appointed to serve staggered four (4) year terms.
