A: Call Community Transportation at 863-357-9900 (this is a local number for Okeechobee). Registration is required, contact Senior Services for assistance. 

Where can I get help for my elderly neighbor or friend who needs assistance?

           A: Call the Elder Helpline at 866-684-5885 to request services for them.
           A: If there is an urgent need or they are in a dangerous situation, call Adult Protective Services at                                     800-962-2873. You may make an anonymous report if you wish.

Where can a stressed out Caregiver get some help or relief?

           A: You may apply for respite service by calling the Elder Helpline at 866-684-5885.
           A: You may also call Morse Life for Caregiver counseling at 561-209-6124.

Where can I get help with my electric bill?

          A: If you or a member of your household is 60 years of age or older, call or stop by the Senior                                            Center. The phone number is 863-462-5180. The address is 1690 NW 9th Avenue, Okeechobee.
