That the Board of County Commissioners convene a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 129.03(3)(c) and Section 200.065(2)(c) and (e) and receive comments, questions or requests for the 2017 tax year; That the Board of County Commissioners adopt Resolution 2018-__ adopting a tentative Millage Rate for the 2018 tax year, declaring that said millage rate exceeds the rolled-back rate; characterizing said percent as the percentage increase in property taxes; providing an effective date. |

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Budget Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 5:01 p.m. at the Okeechobee County Historic Courthouse in the "Judge William L. Hendry Courtroom" located at 304 NW 2nd Street, Okeechobee, Florida.
Any person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purposes, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of such proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
